Yonezawa Grand Fireworks Festival!

Enjoy the fireworks lighting up the night sky along with the music in this brand new event which will trailblaze a new summer tradition in Yonezawa!
Entry is also free!

Date: 29th July 2023 (Saturday)

Time: 7:00 pm ~ 8:30 pm

Schedule:

Ceremony – 7:00 pm
Fireworks Launch – 7:30 pm ~ 8:30 pm

* The event will be postponed to 30th July (Sunday) if the weather is severe.

Venue: Matsu River Riverside (Matsukawa Kasenshiki)

60th Yonezawa Cool Summer Evening Aquatic Fireworks Festival

Over 6,000 fireworks will be shot against the backdrop of Uesugi Shrine! You can expect food stalls as well as song and dance performances at the venue!

Date: 4th August 2023 (Friday)
* Under severe weather conditions, the event will be postponed to 7th August (Monday)

Time: 7:30 pm ~ 9:00 pm
Performances will be held from 6:00 pm ~ 7:10 pm.

Venue: Matsugasaki Park
